Pipistrelle Bats, Noctule Bats, Brown Long-eared bats and Daubenton’s Bats have all been seen in Abbey Fields. Join us for a short talk and use a bat detector to “hear” the bats as they fly overhead in pursuit of prey.
Due to the time of the event and that it will be getting dark the event is not suitable for young children.
Please remember to return bat detectors to the walk leaders.
This event has become so popular in recent years that we have had to restrict numbers. Therefore, I would be grateful if those FOAF members wanting to attend would email us to confirm. A response by 14 July would be helpful.
