Next Litter Pick is 1 June 2024, 9:30 am - Meet at Abbey Fields Car Park Please join us for our regular litter pick events on the first Saturday of the month from April to October, inclusive. We meet at 9:30 am by the church wall on the lime avenue just up from Abbey Fields Car Park.We provide the equipment – litter pickers, gloves, bin bags and distinctive yellow tabards with our logo to show who we are. Sharp objects including broken glass are double-bagged for safety. Old clothes are the order of the day, and don’t forget your wellies if it has been raining.It is amazing how rewarding it is to clear the Fields of offending litter, and we are very grateful to all members of the public who collect litter on a regular basis as without their help the Fields would look a sorry sight.Enjoy a free coffee afterwards! ...
