Once again, in July, FOAF lead two separate Nature Days for the children of St Mary & St Benedict Primary School, Coventry. The children loved the event.
The main focus was to identify some of the many trees in Abbey Fields, but we are sure the highlight was a ‘Pooh Sticks’ competition from the wooden bridge near Bridge Street.
Some of the children have limited access to green spaces, so they love opportunities to visit Abbey Fields. Mrs Macdonald, the headmistress, is always encouraging and supportive in bringing her remarkably happy children to our wonderful green space!
