Between 2010 and 2013 members of Friends of Abbey Fields worked hard with WDC to develop the Crocus Border which runs along the top of Abbey Fields beside Abbey End, between the Abbey End Bus Stop and the war memorial. These little flowers provide an early display, providing a brief but beautiful splash of colour which helps foretell the end of winter and the start of spring.
