On Saturday 5th September 2020, the Mayor of Kenilworth, Councillor Richard Dickson, joined David Emsley from Friends of Abbey Fields, and Tony Jones from the Kenilworth Twinning Association, to post the 2021 Friends of Abbey Fields calendar to the mayors of Bourg-La-Reine (Patrick Donath), Eppstein (Alexander Simon) and Roccalumera (Gaetano Argiroffi)
In alternate years the Friends of Abbey Fields group produces a calendar with pictures of Abbey Fields through the different seasons of the year. Maybe the KTA could produce a calendar to showcase our twin towns every other year?
“The calendar makes an ideal Christmas present, and we hope that they’ll be on prominent display throughout 2021 in the Council offices of our three twinned towns to show one of the treasures of Kenilworth”, said Cllr Dickson.
