On August 11, nine members of the Friends of Abbey Fields had a productive morning, hauling cut grass down the hill from High Street to a flat area accessible to the hay baler. Gail logged 7,500 steps (2.5 km) on her Fitbit! Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a well-earned coffee at The Abbey Field.
Each year, members of FOAF spend about 350 man-hours caring for Abbey Fields.
